What the results are

A verdict is a count of surface habits, compared with how often those habits appeared in our test texts. It can be wrong in both directions. It does not establish that a person did or did not use AI.

How not to use it

Do not use a result as the only basis for a decision about a person, such as a grade, a disciplinary step, a hiring decision or a contract. If a result matters, talk to the person and look at how the text came to be.

The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee of accuracy or availability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its results.
